ESSER 970129.IN DTS (Distributed Temperature Sensing) system is not only capable of quickly and reliably detecting different types of fires, but can also precisely locate fires within a few meters. This occurs largely unaffected by wind, as it detects not only convection but also radiant heat. Furthermore, the size and direction of fire spread can be monitored over an extended period, as the sensor cable can withstand temperatures of up to 750°C without losing its monitoring capabilities.
The system can be easily integrated into existing management platforms (e.g., SCADA systems). This is achieved either through direct communication via Ethernet (TCP/IP) using SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Interface), or through the standard Modbus RS 232, RS 422, RS 485, or TCP/IP protocols.
