1010202 Switch

Potter 1010202 is a Potter Electric Signal OSYSU-2 outside screw & yoke valve supervisory switch designed for fire protection systems to monitor the open position of an OS&Y (outside screw and yoke) type gate valve. It features a red powder-coated die-cast cover with a black base, one set of SPDT (Form C) contacts, and is rated for 10 A at 125/250 VAC and 2 A at 30 VDC. The unit includes visual switch indicators, an adjustable trip rod, two conduit entrances, and tamper-resistant cover screws, accommodating up to 12 AWG wire. Built for rugged service, it has a robust enclosure rated NEMA 4X/IP65 and NEMA 6P/IP67 for indoor/outdoor installation with an operating temperature range from -40 °F to 140 °F (-40 °C to 60 °C), and it is typically used with gate valves from approximately ½″ up to 12″ in fire sprinkler and alarm monitoring applications.
