99S-20 Check Valves

United Brass Works Model 99S-20 is part of the 99S Series swing check valves — a threaded bronze check valve designed to allow fluid to flow in one direction only and prevent backflow in piping systems. It features a bronze body with threaded (NPT) ends, an integral seat and soft disc for reliable sealing, and is 100 % pressure tested for quality assurance. The valve is typically rated for 200 psi WOG (water, oil, gas) at up to 180 °F maximum temperature, and must be installed in the horizontal orientation (not on its side) with a clean seat to ensure proper operation. These valves are suitable for use in water, oil, air, and gas applications but are not recommended for pulsating or vibrating service and are not intended for potable water systems because they contain lead.
