Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and manage offline sales operations, pre-sales activities, sourcing, and project execution.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through direct client engagement, managing the full sales cycle from lead qualification to project delivery, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales, sourcing, vendors, and execution teams. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, solid commercial judgment, and hands-on experience in B2B sales, sourcing, and project-based execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

Lead and manage the offline sales function, including direct sales and pre-sales activities.

Own revenue targets and sales performance across offline channels.

Develop and execute offline sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.

Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of qualified leads and active opportunities.

Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value deals.
Pre-Sales & Solution Development

Oversee all pre-sales activities, including requirement analysis, solution design, and proposal preparation.

Work closely with technical and sourcing teams to develop accurate and competitive offers.

Review and approve quotations, commercial offers, and technical submissions.

Ensure alignment between customer requirements, pricing, and execution capabilities.
Sourcing & Vendor Management

Lead sourcing activities for products, materials, and solutions required for projects.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.

Ensure sourcing decisions align with quality standards, pricing targets, and delivery timelines.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
Project Execution Oversight

Oversee the execution of awarded projects from order confirmation to delivery.

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables.

Act as the main commercial point of contact for clients during project execution.

Ensure client satisfaction and handle escalations when needed.
Team Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

Lead, mentor, and manage sales and pre-sales team members.

Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations.

Coordinate closely with online sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams.

Ensure smooth handover between sales, sourcing, and execution teams.
Reporting & Performance Management

Track sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts.

Prepare regular sales reports and insights for management.

Monitor margins, deal profitability, and project commercial performance.

Identify risks and opportunities and propose corrective actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years in a sales management role.

Proven experience in offline sales, pre-sales, sourcing, and project-based execution.

Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

Experience managing vendors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Experience

Experience in industrial, technical, or project-based sales environments.

Background in marketplaces, system integrators, or supplier-driven businesses.

Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems.
