E-Commerce Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to lead and execute the digital growth of our e-commerce marketplace.

This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in performance marketing, media buying, SEO/SEM, LinkedIn advertising, and AI-powered content creation. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a strong executor, capable of building end-to-end marketing strategies that drive measurable growth in a marketplace business model.


Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with marketplace growth objectives.

  • Build detailed monthly and quarterly marketing plans covering acquisition, conversion, and retention.

  • Define channel mix, budgets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.

  • Align marketing efforts with sales, vendor acquisition, and revenue targets.


Media Buying & Performance Marketing

  • Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across:

    • Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max)

    • LinkedIn Ads (B2B-focused campaigns)

  • Optimize campaigns based on ROAS, CAC, conversion rates, and lead quality.

  • Conduct A/B testing on creatives, audiences, landing pages, and funnels.

  • Manage advertising budgets efficiently and deliver clear performance insights.


SEO & SEM

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies for marketplace, category, and product pages.

  • Conduct keyword research for both buyer and vendor acquisition.

  • Optimize on-page SEO, landing pages, and content structure.

  • Manage SEM campaigns in alignment with organic growth goals.

  • Track rankings, traffic, and conversion performance.


AI-Powered Content & Creative Production

  • Use AI tools to create:

    • Marketing visuals and ad creatives

    • Short-form videos for ads and digital campaigns

    • Brand identity materials and visual assets

  • Ensure scalability of content while maintaining brand consistency and quality.

  • Continuously adapt creatives based on performance data.


Branding & Brand Identity

  • Develop and maintain brand identity materials for the marketplace.

  • Ensure visual and messaging consistency across ads, website, social media, and presentations.

  • Support brand positioning for both buyers and vendors.

  • Create or oversee brand decks, pitch materials, and campaign assets.


Content & Messaging

  • Write and optimize ad copy, website content, landing pages, and campaign messaging.

  • Ensure content aligns with the marketplace value proposition and buyer/vendor pain points.

  • Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to align messaging with business needs.


Marketplace & E-commerce Growth

  • Design and optimize marketing funnels for:

    • Buyer acquisition

    • Vendor onboarding

    • RFQ and order conversion

  • Understand and work within marketplace dynamics (supply and demand balance).

  • Support campaigns targeting both buyers and sellers.

  • Improve conversion rates across the entire customer journey.


Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

  • Track performance across all digital channels.

  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights.

  • Prepare structured performance reports with clear recommendations.

  • Continuously optimize strategies based on results.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • ROAS and overall marketing ROI

  • Cost per acquisition (CPA / CAC)

  • Conversion rates across funnels

  • SEO traffic growth and keyword rankings

  • Buyer and vendor acquisition performance

  • Lead quality and funnel efficiency


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing for e-commerce or marketplaces.

  • Strong hands-on experience in media buying (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).

  • Solid knowledge of SEO and SEM.

  • Proven ability to build and execute marketing strategies and plans.

  • Experience using AI tools for design, video creation, and content generation.

  • Strong understanding of branding and visual identity.

  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in B2B marketplaces or supplier-driven platforms.

  • Background in industrial, technical, or multi-vendor e-commerce.

  • Experience with CRM, analytics, and conversion tracking tools.

  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution.
