NFPA and MODON Partner to Advance Fire Safety in Saudi Industrial Cities
Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen fire safety across its industrial sector through a strategic partnership between the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON).
The two organizations have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at raising fire and life safety standards in industrial facilities across the Kingdom.

The agreement was signed during Intersec Saudi 2025 in Riyadh.
It was formalized by Eng. Ali Al-Oliwah, Director of the Safety and Security Department at MODON, and Jim Pauley, President and CEO of NFPA.
Through this MoU, both parties reaffirm their commitment to building safer and more resilient industrial environments in Saudi Arabia.
Focus on Training, Education, and Knowledge Exchange
Under the agreement, NFPA and MODON will collaborate to enhance institutional capabilities across industrial cities.
